THE NEW ROVER

AGENCY ESTABLISHED Recognising that a strong demand exists for a medium-sized six-cylinder car at a moderate price, the Rover Co., Coventry, has introduced a new six for 1928. These cars appeared before the British public at the Olympia just closed, and received a most flattering reception. Simultaneously with the opening of Olympia, sample cars were dispatched and one of this model Rover was seen in Auckland recently, attracting a good deal of interest with its ultra-fashionable “Weynmnn” saloon body. Under the body, however, is an engine and chassis of modern design that may truly be said to mark a new' stage in the history of British motor-car manufacture. Both four and six cylinder cars are being manufactured, and stocks should be here shortly. The Auckland agency for these new Rovers is being taken up by Messrs. Xorthern Automobiles, Ltd., Albert Street.
