BRITANNIA
“WOLF’S CLOTHING” The value of team work is nowhere more evident than in the making of pictures. Director and star must be as violin and bow, as song and singer. Such a combination is that of Monte Blue and Roy Del Ruth, star and director of “Wolf's Clothing,” the Warner Bros.’ production, coming to the Britannia Theatre to-night. The two men have been associated in the same capacity in three previous Warner films. The first was ‘‘Hogan’s Alley,” a swift-moving melodrama in which Monte played an East Side prize-fighter. The second was the hilarious and mystifying, “The Man Upstairs,” and the third was “Across the Pacific,” an epic of the Philippine In- ! surrection following the Spanish-Ame- ! rican War. ! “Wolf’s Clothing,” the latest BlueDel Ruth film, is the whirlwind romance of a subway guard and a society girl who are both seeking gay adventure at the New Year revel on Broadway. In support of Mr. Blue is tho enchanting Patsy Ruth Miller. Other notable members of the cast arc John Miljan, Douglas Gerrard, Dee Moran and Kala Pasha.
