MUNICIPAL BAND
PROGRAMME AT ZOO An outstanding programme will be given by the Municipal Band in the Zoological Park on Sunday afternoon at 3 o’clock. Among the many delighiful items to be rendered are the “Peer Gynt” suite, “Martha” overture, a fine selection, “Reminiscences of Scotland,” the “Dedication and Benediction” from Meyerbeer’s “Res Huguenots,” and other bright and tuneful numbers. In the Town Hall on the same evening at 5.30 o'clock a musical recital will include many charming numbers. j ‘ Remembrance” is a story of the j British Region, produced by the British | Independent Productions Dtd.. and stars | Violet Hopson, Rex Davis, Hayfork j Hobbs, Alf Goddard. Knid Stamp Tay'or« lyy Close. “Remembrance” achieves greatness by reason of the introduction of H.R.H. Prince of Wales, in the story reading an appreciation of the of the work done by the British Region in France. *
