RESENTFUL LABOURER Resenting what he alleged to be “a dirty sneer,” James Brown, . aged 34, struck a wharf supervisor, yesterday. Brown pleaded not guilty at the Police Court to-day to a charge of assault. Allan Basil Sheath, a wharf supervisor, said that after he had engaged labour at a wharf yesterday accused asked why he had not been chosen. He then became abusive, and struck witness three times. Brown said that the supervisor had §iven him a dirty sneer, He was fined £4, in default 10 days’ imprisonment.
