Record entries have been obtained In mane sections. This year the ring events will include novelties such as whippet racing and the side-shows will be more than tisually interesting. For the weight-guessing competition the Auckland Meat Company has presented a bullock, cow, pig and three sheep. Mr. Henry Brown has given a handsome gold medal for the winner of the aggregate weight of ail the animals. __
