SERIOUS POSITION By Cable.—Press Association. — Copyright. Reed. 11.25 a.m. SYDNEY, To-day. Official figures disclose that the unemployed no total 15,000. This is generally considered due to a large extent to the restrictive legislation of the late Labour Government, and the bad season, which has thrown a large number of men out of work in country districts. Many of these come to the city, only to find conditions no better than in rural districts. —and N.Z.
