INTERRUPTED WEDDING
BRIDEGROOM INJURED EXPLOSION OF SPIRITS (From Our Own Correspondent) WELLINGTON, To-day. The explosion of a tin of methylated spirits near which they were working with a lamp, resulted in George Jessen, aged 25, and Charles Stanton, aged 25, being badly burned at the Cooperative Dairy Producers’ Freezing Company’s building. Jessen was severely injured about the head, arms, body and legs, and his condition is serious. It is understood he was to have been married to-night. Stanton was injured about the arms and head, but not seriously.
