THAMES FIREMEN COMPETE On Saturday the Thames Fire Brigade held the annual competition for the Peddie Cup. Results were as follow: Two men coupling, A. Fleming and C. -Bunting, time 27 4-ssec, 1; M. Hoskins and A. Winder, time 2Esee, 2; P. Jenkin and J. Hardman, time SO 4-ssec, 3. One-man coupling, P. Jenkin, 32 4-osec, 1; A. Winder, 2; A. Fleming, 36 4-ssee, 3. Previous winners of the cup are: A. Lomas (2), E. Griffin, A. Fleming (4), W. Lomas, C. Bunting, R. Willetts.
