NOVEMBER BRIDES

INGRAM—KIDD A wedding: of considerable interest took place in the Holy Trinity Church at Waiuku on Wednesday, when Miss F. Gwendoline, younger daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Kidd, of Brookfield, Waiuku, was married to James Nelson Ingram, only son of Mr. and Mrs. George Ingram, of Rama Rama. The Rev. J. C. Fussell was the officiating minister. The church, which had been beautifully decorated by friends of the bride, was crowded with friends of the bride and groom. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a pretty frock of rosepink charmeuse, trimmed with* silver, and a veil of honiton lace was caught with a coronet of pearls and orange blossoms, and she carried a beautiful shower bouquet of roses, Iceland poppies and maidenhair fern. Miss Inez Gillies, cousin of the bride, and Miss Annie Ingram, sister of the bridegroom, who acted as bridesmaids, wore frocks of ecru lace over shellpink crepe de chine, with shoulder posies of delphinium blue chrysanthemums. They wore crinoline hats with velvet bows, and eq,ch carried a shower bouquet of delphiniums and lupins. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. Clifford Kidd as best man and Mr. Fred Kidd as groomsman. Miss Winifred West presided at the organ. After the ceremony a reception was held at the Oddfellows’ Hall, where the guests were received by Mr. and Mrs. Kidd. Later in the day Mr. and Mrs. Ingram left by motor-car on an extended tou r. Mrs. A. J. Kidd, when receiving the guests, wore a frock of cornflower blue georgette, with hat and scarf to match. Mrs. A. J. Kidd, Auckland, wore navy taffeta and hat to tone. Mrs. Laurenson, Matamata, beaded frock of almond green crepe de chine, and crinoline hat. Miss Parker, apricot georgette frock and hat to match. _ , ... Mrs. Gillies, navy georgette frock, with green and cerise trimmings, hat to match. Miss J. Gillies, black georgette over pale pink, and black hat.
