CUTELLI—MENZIES

St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Wanganui, was the scene of a very pretty wedding recently, when Miss Mona Menzies, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Menzies, of Auckland, was married to Adolphus Cutelli, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Cutelli, Wanganui. The Rev. Father Kimbell, S.M., officiated at the ceremony. The bride looked charming in a frock of white georgette inset with wide silver lace. Her train and veil were exquisitely worked with silver and fastened with a spray of orange blossom. The maid of honour was Miss Gladys Macken and the bridesmaid Miss Florrie Cutelli, sister of the bridegroom. Both wore frocks of floral crepe de chine, with hats to match. Mr. R. Cutelli, brother of the bridegroom, was best man, and Mr. R. O. Smith acted as groomsman. The bride was given away by her father. Valda Southcombe was train-bearer and Clifford Macken made a charming page. After the ceremony a reception was held at the Royal Willows. The guests were received by the bride’s mother, Mrs. Menzies, who wore a French grey frock trimmed with rose du Barri. Mrs. Cutelli, mother of the bridegroom, wore a black crepe de chine frock with gold trimmings. After the reception Mr. and Mrs. Cutelli left for Wellington, en route to the South Island.
