FELIX ENTERTAINERS GIVE BRIGHT PARTY
YOUTHFUL HOSTESSES AND CHARMING FROCKS The “Felix Entertainers” held a delightful dance last evening in St. Mary’s Hall to entertain all their friends who have supported them in their charitable efforts during the last three years. There were over 300 guests, who were received in charmingmanner by the young hostesses. Large blue and gold streamers were used for the decorations and the supper room looked very atractive with touches of blue and gold and black “Felix” cats that almost semed to purr amid the delicacies.
A refreshing claret cup was provided and each guests received a crepe paper cap of original design. Favours of gay paper dolls on sticks were given to the ladies. Mr. Clyde EEowley’s popular Internationals were heard in all the latest numbers, and the quartette singing was quite a feature of the evening. Mr. Howley entertained with some novelty dance steps, which were greatly appreciatd. The hostesses of the evening wore:— Miss B. Philcox, model of powder blue georgette, featuring French pleating, and bolero style jacket with transparent hem of silver lace. Miss E. Alison, dainty frock of ivory georgette relieved with silver. Miss C. Anderson, amethyst tinted georgette frock. Miss M. Craig, cherry crepe de chine gown with side panels of frilling. Miss M. Jones, frock of turquoise blue chiffon velvet with relief of ivory embossed in gold thread. Miss A. Howard, dainty crepe de chine frock of lavender shades. Miss K. Horsley, Nile green georgette model. Miss J. Mclndoe, opalescent and rose sequinned net on ivory crepe de chine ground. Miss M. Rainger, frock of pervenche blue georgette. Miss C. Rainger, ivory georgette gown with relief of silver. Miss D. Shrewsbury, dainty gown of blush rose georgette, with relief of turquoise blue. Miss B. Wilson, tomato georgette model embossed in gold thread. As a mark of distinction the committee ladies wore chic paper caps of “Felix” design. Gordon, dainty frock of ivory georgette with relief of diamante. Miss I. Gordon, peach georgette gown embossed in gold thread. Miss M. Maddox, apricot georgette frock beaded in silver. Miss E. Gaudin, ivory taffeta gown of Victorian style, with relief of blush rose. Miss E. Hardley, bouffant floral taffeta gown of orchid shadesMiss BE. Bewes, frock of hois de rose georgette embossed in rose and turquoise blue. Miss J. Robertson, gown of cream chiffon velvet and georgette. Miss M. Simpson, jade and midnight silver metalled cloth gown held at the shoulder with bands of silver diamante. Miss B Molloy, frock of orange chenille ■ embossed georgette. Miss IT. Seabrook, shaded sea-green fringed model on peach tinted crepe de chine ground. Miss N. Self, dainty frock of maize georgette and taffeta with shoulder posie to tone. Miss J. Colwill, gown of floral georgette, wedgewood blue on boise de rose ground. Miss D. Rainger, peach coloured georgette frock sequined in gold with sash of peach velvet. Miss F. Gaudin, cerise georgette frock with panel of silver lace. Miss D. Tills, cyclamen georgette model, exquisitely beaded in silver. Miss M. Worthington, shell pink georgette gown, with sequinned pattern of rose and silver. Miss A. Simpson, delphinium blue georgette, beaded in silver. Miss J. Graham, gown of jade green georgette and taffeta. Miss M. Stewart, ivory georgette model, appliqued round the uneven hem line with large pink roses. Miss M. Akroyd, amethyst tinted georgette gown, beaded in silver. Miss M. Sou ter. dainty ivory georgette frock, with transparent hem of silver lace. Miss XI. Jackson, black lace gown, with diamante buckle and exquisite shoulder posy of rose tints. Miss R. Rainger, wedgwood blue frock, with cyclamen and midnight blue relief. Miss C. Rainger, pervenche blue chiffon velvet model, with narrow goldfringed relief, and sunset-tinted rose at shoulder. Miss L. Le Quesne, bouffant gown of black taffeta, embossed in cherry and gold thread. Miss M. Kissling, sage green georgette frock, with cerise shoulder posy. Miss X. Colbeck, frock of jade green georgette, relieved with silver. Miss Vaile, dainty gown of shell pink georgette. Miss P. Vaile, powder blue georgette frock. Miss M. Ferguson, gown of cyclamen and silver brocade. Miss L. Roberton, shell pink georgette, beaded, worn over duchess blue. Miss Gwen Fullerton, gown of primrose taffeta, with transparent hem of jade green tulle.
