PETTY THEFTS FROM MOTOR-CARS

I HE petty motor thief has been x operating freely in Auckland recently. One of the most recent victims was Mr. F. Ripley. One evening recently he left his car in KHyber Pass for some hours, and when he returned he found that petty thieves had overhauled it. The cushions were thrown about and everything was disarranged. Later Mr. Ripley discovered that all the tools in his car had been taken.

Similar complaints have been made by other motor-car owners.
