MT. ALBERT ANNOYED
TRAM STOPS CUT OUT Strong criticism of the City Council for cutting out certain tram stops in the Mount Albert borough was voiced by councillors of the borough who met last evening. Members contended that fetops which were vitally necessary had been cut out and others of secondary importance had been left. »
“I certainly think the City Council j might have hAd the courtesy to consult us on the matter,” said the Mayor. Mr. L. E. Rhodes. “It conferred with us when stops were being arranged, and I think we should have had some say in any cutting out of stops.”
It was decided to send a letter of protest to the City Council.
