TRADE IN KAURI GUM

Trade m kauri gum circles during the past week has been dull and practicallv lifeless. Little inquiry has come to hand from overseas, and no large contracts have been reported.

Production in the Northern fields has shown an increase over the past three months, the figures for October being 385 a^a ip s t 323 tons for September and -41 tons for August. These figures can be expected to be maintained, or increased during the summer months.
