AT AFTERNOON TEA
THAMES OLD GIRLS A delightful afternoon was spent yesterday by a large number of members of the Thames Old Girls’ Association and their members and friends at one of the association’s very successful reunion tea parties. The president, Mrs. A. Oldham, presided. Some interesting reminiscences of Thames were given by Mr. G. White, and Mrs. Woolley, secretary, Mrs. Black and Mrs. White spoke briefly on the association's plans for helping the needy at Christmas time. A programme was rendered by the following:—Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Lewis, songs, and Miss Stone and Mr. Coath, recitations. Afternoon tea was served by the committee, and the meeting concluded with the singing of “Aud Lang Syne.”
