OCCIDENTAL UNA.— The manager reports:—The crosscut to inters#ct No. 1 reef has been extended 11 feet for the week. The country penetrated is of good class for making gold. The No. 1 reef was practically unworked i>y the late company on this level, as it was dipping into the Una claim (not then held by the company). A rise has now been started some distance seaward at above crosscut to pick up No. 1 and about 12 feet of rising is required before the reef is cut. The intermediate level has been extended a further 6 feet on the footwall
