SHUNTING AT NEW LYNN

TOWN BOARD PROTEST Protests regarding alleged lax shunting operations on a line leading into a private property, and the erection of a railway dwelling so as to further interfere with the view of the railway yarcT at New Lynn, are to be forwarded to the Railway Department by the New Lynn Town Board. Both subjects were discussed at a meeting of that authority last evening. Members contended that traffic was held up from time to time on the level crossing as the result of the shunting operations referred to. The department will also be requested to expedite the provision of a warning bell at this dangerous spot.
