PRIME MINISTER WISHES MISS NEW ZEALAND 1927 BON VOYAGE TO HOLLYWOOD
especial to THE SUN.) WELLINGTON, To-day. “TVTISS NEW ZEALAND, 1927” (Miss Dale Austen) was received by the Prime Minister, Mr. Coates, this morning. The Dunedin girl was introduced to the Prime Minister by Mr. J. Me. Dickson, member for Port Chalmers, whose constituent though of course, unfranchised—she is.
Mr. Coates, when wishing "Miss New Zealand” a happy trip across the Pacific to Hollywood, said that the eyes of all New Zealand would be upon her. He felt certain that she would worthily uphold the traditions of the Dominion.
