Old Landmark Destroyed.—A fourroomed house at the outlet to Lake Waikaremoana was destroyed by fire at 11 a.m. on Monday. The place was tenanted by Mr. and Mrs. H. Wyllie, the former being absent at the time. Little furniture was saved. The house was owned by Mr. W. A. Neale, of Wairoa, and was not insured. It was an old landmark. —Press Association.
