ORATIA YOUNG PEOPLE’S SOCIETY A series of papers written by Mr. H. Angus were read to members of the Oratia Young People’s Society with a view to conveying in a clear manner the main points of economics. There was a fair attendance. With the assistance of Misses Firth and Stone and Messrs. Firth and Stone, Mr. Angus was able to handle liis subject in a most lucid and interesting way. The series of questions dealt with under the category of the main title were “Division of Labour,” “Machinery,” “Large Scale Production,” “Rent,” “Taxation.” and “Organisation of Industry.” »
