ENTERPRISING CLUB

IT goes without saying that the trotting public of Auckland will heartily commend and appreciate the action of the Auckland Trotting Club in its effort ’“to induce the owner of the Dominion champion pacer, Great Bingen, to attack the existing records against time held by Happy Voyage (one mile) and Country Belle (two miles). Tempting terms have been offered and in the event of Mr. J. R. McKenzie accepting the conditions, light-harness enthusiasts will have something to look forward to with pleasant anticipation. Although the speed tests will prove a great draw for the club’s Christmas fixture, they will provide patrons with an additional cause for enthusiasm.
