HOW FAVOURITES RAN
THE whereabouts of favourites at the finish of their races is always interesting study to keen followers of the light-harness sport, and their failure is looked upon by many students of the game as an indication for better results the next time out. Epsom favourites on Saturday finished as follows: Raima fourth, Luvan fifth, Tom Thumb-Talaro bracket second and third, Daphne de Oro, Donard, Harvest Child bracket first, third and fourth, The Shrew first, Sea Pearl second, Betty Moko third, and Stanmoor eighth.
