GAOL FOR ASSAULT
INCIDENT IN PICTURE THEATRE Herbert Lawson, a lady's hair, dresser, was sentenced to one month's imprisonment at the Police Court to-ciay for assault on a male r complainant said that he had been accosted by accused, and the assault was committed later in a picture theatre. Chief-Detective Cummings said that accused’s general reputation was unsatisfactory, and consistent with complainant’s evidence.
