GENERAL LABOURERS IN CONFERENCE

REPRESENTATIVE DELEGATES The New Zealand Federation of General labourers, which was formed last February, opened its first annual conference in the Trades Hall this morning at ten o’clock. A large number of delegates, representing various parts of New Zealand, were present. Taking part in the conference are: The Dominion president, Mr. G. Solomon (Hawke’s Bay), and Messrs. J. Sutherland (Wanganui), 3-1. Worrall, and Walker (Christchurch), Harrison and Cocking (Otago), R. Semple Le Suer, Tcy, and M. Brown (Auckland). The business of the morning, it is understoc'd, was of a routine nature.
