58TH ANNUAL MEETING The fifty-eighth annual general meeting of the Auckland Rowing Club was held in Mr. H. deal’s rooms last evening. The commodore, Mr. H. Cleal, was in the chair. The report and balance sheet were adopted. The election of officers resulted as follows: President, Mr. A. J. Farmer; commodore, Mr. G. Hogan; vice-' commodore, Mr. E. S. Kohn; vicepresidents, same as last year, with the addition of Messrs. A. J. Farmer and H. Cleal, with power to add; club captain, Mr. R. K. Stacey; deputy-captain, Mr. G. A. Jonson; honorary treasurer, Mr. J. MeComish; honorary secretary, Mr. Alan M. Doull; executive committee, Messrs. A. Ross, R. Mahon, G. Field, R. Martin, W. H. Eaddy; honorary solicitor, Professor R. M. Algie; honorary auditors, Messrs. R. Chapl pell and R. Leabourn: selection committee, left to the incoming committee; delegates to the Auckland Rowing Association, Messrs. G. A. Jonson, A. Ross, R. Martin. It was stated that the seaSbn would probably open on October 22.
