APPEAL IN WAIHI A successful ten days’ mission in St. Joseph’s Church, Waihi, was brought to f. close on Sunday night with a powerful sermon on the “History and infallibility of the Catholic Church.” All the services throughout the mission have been well attended, particularly the e*ening services, when the church was taxed to its limits to hold the large congregation. The Rev. Father McCarthy, S.M.. conducted the mission.
