WAIHOU WINS SOCCER FINAL The South Auckland Association senior league soccer championship final was decided at Hamilton on Saturday, when Waihou defeated Pukemiro by 1 goal to nil in a strenuous game, J. Andrews netting for the former from a combined forward movement. Huntly Thistle held the premiership last year. The initial game of the Hooper Cup hockey series was played between Old Boys, winners of the Kilham Cup, and Hamilton High School, resulting in a win for the former by four goals to three.
