WINNING FORM

'J'HERE is nothing like following winning form among the two-year-olds. Knightlike made no mistake when he scored in the Debutante Stakes at Wanganui, achieving one of the most impressive victories ever registered in that event. The Paladin colt looks none the worse for that race, and, unlike many other Debutante winners, he will not fade out of the picture. Although there are some smart youngsters announced to oppose Knightlike in the Avondale Stages to-morrow, it is thought by many good judges that if Mr. A. B. Williams’s colt is to be prevented from following in the footsteps of the owner’s Bathos,, it will be the going that is responsible.
