BUSINESS FOR TO-DAY WELLINGTON, To-day. The Tariff Commission’s report is expected to be brought before the House of Representatives to-day and will occupy a great part of the afternoon sitting. The Council will put the Summer Time Bill into committee and probably will pass it through the final stages. The Prime Minister assured a deputation to-day that he would not use the forms of the House to side-track any promise he had made respecting the Religious Exercises Bill, but he did not expect that this Bill would be before the committee for at least two weeks, other urgent matters preceding it.
