MORRINSVILLE FIRE
HOUSE TOTALLY DESTROYED A five-roomed house, owned and occupied by Mr. E. C. K. Robinson, of the Mangateparu floldiers’ Settlement, was totally destroyed by fire shortly after noon on Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Robinson, who at the time were in Morrinsville, had only left the place an hour previously, when everything appeared safe. There had been no fire In the place since the morning. Neighbours first noticed smoke issuing from the roof of the building, and quickly formed a bucket brigade, but without success. A few articles of furniture were saved, but Mr. and Mrs. Robinson are heavy losers. The insurance is unknown at present.
