MAORI DEMONSTRATION

METHODISTS TO MEET The Maori demonstration to be held at the Town Hall to-morrow 6 evening will be of a unique nature. In addition to part-singing by the party, which has been touring in the South, there will be an item by the boys of Paerata College. The Rev. Tahupotiki Haddon, senior superintendent of the Maori work, will give an address on social work among his own people.

A special feature of the assembly will be the presence of over 500 Sunday school children. The choirs of the city and suburban Methodist churches will also take part.

Community singing. under the leadership of Mr. W. Leather, will commence at 7.15, the organ being taken by Mr. A. Peak. At 7.30 the programme of Maori it€’ms will comemnce.
