BOXING PERMIT REFUSED
THE COLOUR BAR Press Association. WELLINGTON, To-day. Permission to fight in New Zealand was refused the light-weight coloured boxer Johnny Hall by the New Zealand Boxing Council last night. It was stated that the policy of the council was to refuse licences to coloured peoples, with the exception of Maoris.
