Three employees were killed. A steel pipe conveying acetone vapour exploded. Steel fragments were scattered about the works mutilating the victims, who were standing near. Fire spread to a building containing tons of cordite, which flared up. This building was shattered. Twenty other workmen dashed out and escaped. The flames destroyed the building in a few minutes. Every window in the other portions of the extensive factory was broken.—Sun.
