FAREWELL PRESENTATION

GOOD-BYE TO WAIUKU On Friday night friends gathered at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Barriball to say farewell to Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Lewis and family, who are shortly leaving Waiuku to take up their residence in Auckland. During the evening songs, games and dancing were indulged in, and were much enjoyed by those present. Shortly after supper Mr. G. H. Selby presented Mr. and Mrs Lewis with a floor rug as a small token of the appreciation in which they were held by their friends. Mr. R. J. Barriball also presented a book to each of the three boys. A most enjoyable evening was concluded at about 1 a.m. by the singing of “Auld Lang Syne.”
