WARKWORTH’S WATER
OWNERSHIP OF SPRINGS j REQUEST TO HEALTH BOARD Press Association. WELLINGTON, To-day. Ac a .recent meeting of the Board of Health letters dated July 25 and August IS were received from the Warkworth Town Board, North Auckland, asking for a requisition to enable the board to acquire, at a cost of £BOO. a property on which are situated the springs from which the town water supply is drawn. A telegram from the medical officer of health at Auckland supported the request, and stated that a fuller report was being forwarded. The board resolved that the request be left in the hands of the chairman and Director-GeneraK of Health, to take such action as they think fit and issue the requisition if it is thought advisable.
