FINALISTS AT NAPIER MISS OTAGO FAVOURED (Special to THE SUN.) NAPIER, To-day. 1 The “Miss New Zealand” finalists arrived here by the express yesterday and were enthusiastically received at the theatre last evening. Napier voted for Miss Otago, Miss Wellington, and Miss Auckland in that order. The aggregate positions are unaltered: First: Miss Dale Austen (“Miss Otago”). Second: Miss Vera Hodge (Maid of Honour to “Miss Otago”). Third: Miss Hazel Spiers (“Miss Wellington"). Fourth: Miss Leon McCall (“Miss Canterbury”). Fifth: Miss Billie Andreasson (“Miss Auckland”). Sixth: Miss Hildred Graham (Maid of Honour to “Miss Auckland”). Seventh: Miss Morgie Cameron (Maid of Honour to “Miss Southland”). Eighth: Miss Pat Smidt (Maid of Honour to “Miss Wellington”). Ninth: Miss Winnie Tonkinson (“Mis§ Southland”). Tenth: Miss Jane Kinsey (Maid of Honour to “Miss Canterbury”).
