ANNUAL MEETING HELD The annual meeting of the Council of Christian Congregations in St. David’s Hall, Khyber Pass, last evening, elected the following officers: President, Mr. F. N. Andrews; vicepresidents, Archbishop Averill, Dr. 1 '.an - ston, Rev. D. C. Herron; treasurer, J. p Hooton; joint secretaries, C H. Furness and a. Brownlee; executive. Canon Young Rev. Drake, Rev. Lush, Rev. Thomson Rev. North, Rev. Cruickshank, Messrs Brownlee, Stanley, Fairgray, Murdoch, Bush, Edmiston, and Messer. The Rev. D. C. Herron, retiring president, said he was pleased to see the office of president in the hands of a layman. The annual statement showed that the council finished the year with a balance of £24 9s 7d, or 3s 7d less than what is started the year with.
