PORK EXPORT FAVOURED (From Our Oxen Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, Wednesday. At the annual meeting of the Whangarei Dairy Company held to-day, at which Mr. H. Wakelin presided, it was decided to pay a dividend of 5 per cent, on fully paid shares. It was also decided to continue exporting pigs this season. Last season the company sent 1,809 carcases to England, out of a total of 587.000 for the whole Dominion. The ballot to fill two vacancies on the directorate resulted in Messrs. R. D. Finlayson, 456 votes, and T. J. Griffin, 308 votes, being returned. Other candidates were: Messrs. L. A. Johnson, 248 votes and J. W. Wakelin, 243 votes. Mr. A. L. Pike was reappointed auditor.
