PUKEKOHE STOCK VALUES
Good quality young dairy cattle continue to meet with a strong demar.d. All classes of store cattle also sell on a. firm market. Alfred Buckland and Sons report holding a sale at Pukekohe during the week, where an average yarding of most classes of stock sold at late rates. Three and four-year-old store steers made to £8 Is; 2J to 3-year steers sold to £6 17s. Beef sold at fully Westfield rates. One line of choice heifers, on account A. E. Wright, made to £lO. Dairy cattle met with a steady demand and best heifers sold up to £l4. Yearling Jerseys made to £ff. Yearling Shorthorns made to £4 15s.
