“MARRIED LOVE”

AT NATIONAL TO-MORROW The National Theatre management announce the opening of the first of the big British productions, “Married Love,” a story by Dr. Marie Stopes, which commences its season of one week at the above theatre to-mororw. “Married Love” is said to be an outstanding British production and right off the beaten track usually covered by film producers. The London “Daily Mail,” commenting on the picture, says: “Married Love” is one of the finest stories ever filmed. It is a good, clean entertainment worthy of pride of place in any cinema. Lilian Hall Davis, England’s leading film star, plays the part of Masio Burrows. Her acting in this picture is the outstanding work of her brilliant career. “Married Love” is an earnest story, dealing in an outspoken way with the vital topic of racial progress which affects directly every person in the land. Out of this vital material the authors have conceived a story which can best be described as a human document, and is entirely free from any salacious or

objectionable matter. The picture is one that will appeal to all classes as entertainment that is different in its appeal, and yet satisfactory. This picture has bene shown for the longest season of any film in London in many years. In addition to this picture “Headlines,” a comedy-drama featuring Alice Joyce, Malcolm McGregor, Virginia Lee Corbin and Henry T. Morey will be shown. An exceptionally fine supporting programme comprising a two-reel comedy, “Love Taps,” and the latest British Gazette and Empire News and Paris fashions will complete an exceptionally fine entertainment. Reservation may be made at the theatre, or by phoning 42-169.
