“SENSATION SEEKERS”
COMING TO TIVOLI AND EVERYBODY’S The Russian nobility is represented in the cast of “The Sensation Seekers.” Lois Weber’s depiction of the modernist trend in morals which opens at the Tivoli and Everybody’s Theatres tomorrow. While Billie Dove and Huntley Gordon have the leading roles a prominent supporting part is played by Prince Youcca Troubetzkoy. Prince Youcca is the son of Prince and Princess Nicolai Troubetzkoy and the nephew of Prince Paul Troubetzkoy, the noted sculptor.
Prince Youcca is not new to the screen, having played in pictures in France before Carl Laemmle, president of Universal Pictures Corporation, discovered him. In this country he has played in “Peacock Feathers,” “The Beautiful Cheat.” “The Sensation Seekers,” “Flower of the Night” and other features. Strangely enough he was born in Los Angeles twenty years ago, when his parents were on a tour of the world. The family returned to Russia after the re volution, but later settled in Nice, France, where the young prince attended school. He became a dancer and then entered a European motion picture contest. which he won. He played in many French productions and then came to the attention of Mr. Laemmle. The supporting oast of “The Sen sation Seekers” includes Ravmon.’ Bloomer, Peggy Montgomery, Phillips Smalley, Edith Yorqe, Clarence Thompson and Nora Cecil.
