The “Daily Mail” says fingernails tinted, enamelled and polished to match a pearl necklace are the latest fad of fashionable women. This is the result of a new polish, which gives a pearl-like lustre and irridescence and possesses a tinge matching pink pearls or the sheen of the cryster pearl. Manicurists say the smartest women now wear nails a quarter of an inch long. Many dark-complexioned women are using red polish, although henna is taboo as an extravagance in manicure and vulgar.—Sun.
