QUEEN STREET COLLISION
SMALL CAR DAMAGED A small car driven by a woman, and having another woman as passenger, collided with a lorry in Queen Street,, near the foot of Wyndham Street, about 10 o’clock this morning. The car was travelling along the tram rails and turned in toward the footpath at the tram zone. A lorry was backing out from a line of vehicles at the kerb and the two collided. The high back of the lorry carried away the windscreen and hood of the car. The two women were surrounded by broken glass, but escaped injury.
