STOLE MONEY FROM BOARDING HOUSES
GAOL TERM LENGTHENED William Henry Gough, aged 23, smiled at the Police Court to-day. He had nothing to smile about, because he got a month’s imprisonment. Gough pleaded guilty to charges of stealing sums of 19s 2d and £7 at Wellington. Chief Detective Ward said that accused was sentenced to two months’ imprisonment on July 14 on five charges of theft. The thefts with which he was now charged were committed in Wellington boarding houses. The magistrate, Mr. F. IC. Hunt, sentenced him to a month’s imprisonment, cumulative with his present sentence.
