CARRYING OUT OF TESTS DEPARTMENT'S EXPERIMENTS Press Association. WELLINGTON, To-day. The Director of Education, in a statement to-day, indicates, in regard to the proposal to aid teachers in remote schools by wireless, that no definite arrangements had been made with the Broadcasting Company. Reception tests are to be conducted, and if satisfactory the company will be approached in an endeav u- to arrange a set time in the morning when lessons may be broadcast. Several teachers in remote places have notified that they have sets and would be willing to conduct experiments.
