CHURCH PARADES AT PAPATOETOE
The Papatoetoe troop of Girl Guides under Captain D. Barton paraded yesterday and attended church service at St. John’s Prestvterian Church. MASONIC LODGE The Masonic Lodge, Papatoetoe, No. 227, also held a church parade at the same place of worship, the Rev. T. IT. Roseveare preached a stirring sermon, his subject being “Rock of Ages.” The preacher stressed his belief in the endurance of the spirit of Christ despite the storms of life and the testing of time.
