Wheeling Round the World
BRITISH MOTOR-CYCLISTS ARRIVE AUCKLAND TO-DAY After travelling through 20 countries, and ov’er 20,000 miles of roadways, the motor-cyclists, Messrs. B. H. Cathrick and J. P. Castley, riding B.S.A. machines, will arrive here this afternoon. They are scheduled to reach Skeates and White’s showroom in Fort Street at 3.30 p.m. To-morrow they will be the guests of the Automobile Association at a luncheon, and they will give addresses. On Wednesday they leave for Rotorua at 8 a.m. Escorted by a fleet of motor-cycles ridden by the members of the Hamilton Motor-cycle Club, they arrived at Hamilton early on Saturday evening. They were the guests of tho Hamilton Motor-cycle Club at dinner, and on Sunday travelled to Cambridge. They leave Auckland on August 31 for Panama, where they will catch a coastal boat for Chili before crossing tho Andes to Buenos Aires, From the latter port the travellers journey to South Africa, finishing at Mombasa, and leaving for the /Red Sea and Home.
