C. BADELEY IN FORM Manukau was much too good for Grammar in this game at Onehunga. After the first spell the seasiders were always on the attack and though Grammar fought stubbornly it was unable to avoid defeat by 19 points to 8. Denize, Satherly, and X. Lipscombe (twice) scored for Manukau, the latter

converted one try, and Sturmey also converted one try and kicked a penalty goal. Clarke and Skelton scored for Grammar and C. Badeley converted one try. The pick of the Manukau team wa.s N. Lipscombe, Sturmey and Rata. C. Badeley was the best of the Grammar team.
