CHANGE OF MINISTRY
FUNCTION AT AVONDALE The function at which the Rev. Alfred Drake and Mrs. -Drake were accorded a welcome to Avondale and the Rev. Mr. Grace was given a farewell attracted a large gathering of parishioners. Apart from the dual purpose mentioned, the promise of an interesting evening’s entertainment, with consideration for both old and young, swelled the numbers. Dances, competitions and musical items were the chief attractions. Those who contributed the 1 ist-mentioned were Mrs H. Bollard and Mrs. Waygoo<l, pianoforte duet: Miss Rita Thomas, song; and Mr. G. Hoyle
