TE AWAMUTU CLUB TE AWANJUTU, Wednesday. The following officers were elected at the annual meeting of the Te Awamutu Croquet Club: —Patron. Mrs. W. Taylor; president, Mrs. Lacy Peake; vicepresidents, Mesdames J. Layne, J. O’Sullivan and K*. C. Rickit; treasurer. Mrs. IT. Y. Collins; secretary, Mrs. C. F. Battson; committee, Mesdames Davis, Chittenden, McArthur, Noonan. Bray and Houston; green superintendent, Mrs. F. B. Bowden; match committee, Mesdames Layne, Davis and Houston. Arrangements were made for the opening day to coincide with the opening of the Bowling Club’s season. Several trophies were donated for competition.
